Learning
At Summit Preparatory Academy, the child comes first. We take pride in not only providing for their physical and emotional needs, but for their developmental needs as well. Our curriculum was created for its balance between both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. It is our goal to help the children develop the passion for learning that they will carry with them throughout their life. Summit Preparatory Academy uses a weekly theme based curriculum that is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts. This allows the teachers to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children of all backgrounds and skill levels that is constantly matching the interests of the students. Please be sure to look for the weekly lesson plans hanging in the classrooms.

EXCELLENT Based on 83 reviews Posted on Isaiah ManfrediTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Summit has been an absolute blessing to the Manfredi Family and we cannot repay all of the love, wisdom, and time invested into Remi from this staff over these past 6 years. She has grown in God and in so many other ways with this fantastic group of people. We love Summit and all the staff! We especially thank Miss Michelle, Miss Rachel, Miss Goldie, Miss Shasta, Miss Savannah, Miss Angel and so many others for your dedication and service to our Remington! This organization, because of the Administration Staff, truly exemplifies Proverbs 22:6 written on the wall as you enter their halls Thank you for 6 amazing years!!!! We love Summit Preparatory!!Posted on Keri HymerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our girls have attended Summit for 2022. We moved there after feeling like our oldest wasn't being supported in her development. We quickly learned that the directors are top notch and truly love our girls where they are and will always put what is best for the child, first, and take to heart the needs of the families they serve.Posted on Jerahmy MoreheadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a contractor that's had a pleasure of doing business with summit prep academy i must commend the unique staff i was able to observe while on site. From the first step into the facility. Michelle and Rachel were professional, polite, energetic, and very welcoming to everyone entertaining the building! The staff handling the children was always 100% engaged and attentive to every child but what stood out to me the most was the cleanliness of the entire facility inside and out! Great job to Michelle Thompson and her staff!Posted on Parker NunezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ms Michelle And Ms Rachel are the best!!Posted on Missa LynnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We truly could not be happier with our experience at this school! My daughter absolutely loves it here — to the point that she’s actually cried a couple of times because she didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! She wakes up excited to go and always comes home full of stories and smiles. Her favorite person in the world right now is Ms. Barbie — she lights up every morning when she sees her! It’s clear how much love and care Ms. Barbie pours into her classroom, and we are so grateful for the joy and connection she’s built with our daughter. The directors are also amazing. They make a point to greet her by name every single morning and say goodbye each afternoon — it’s such a small gesture, but it makes a big difference and really sets the tone for how warm and welcoming the whole school environment is. We feel so confident leaving her in their care each day, and as a parent, there’s no better feeling than knowing your child is safe, happy, and genuinely loved where they are. I can’t recommend this school enough!Posted on Allie WomackTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been with Summit for almost a year and truly are so happy with this program. My son at 3 has been in Ms Stephanie’s class and the skills she has been able to teach him are some that my older daughter, who did not go to Summit, wasn’t able to achieve until kindergarten. The early childhood education offered here is above and beyond. Beyond academics, he has learned a lot of social skills and loves his friends in class very much. Everyone gets along very well. They also remember to have lots and lots of FUN! ALL staff at Summit are very friendly and the director Michelle has been great to answer all my questions along the way. She runs a tight ship. Everyone communicates very well and frequently throughout the day. Every day we walk in to Summit the campus is very clean. The staff, across the board, whether they are working at the front desk, kitchen, teacher or an afternoon aide are a team and are so kind and professional. The price is the same as other day cares in the area but the value you get is above and beyond what anyone else can offer. Also, the peace of mind in knowing your child is well taken care of is PRICELESS. I am so thankful for this program and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an option for childcare.Posted on Ashley ShockleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 2 children have attended Summit since they were 6 months old and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff are so caring and knowledgeable! I couldn't imagine sending our children anywhere else. They are constantly doing fun things with the children like water day, spirit week, fun parties and cute little crafts! We love Summit so much and would highly recommend them if you are looking for childcare in the White House area.Posted on Briana BalkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can not say enough how much we love and value Summit. Before my daughter started at age 3, I was a stay-at-home mom for 2.5 years. Going to school was scary and daunting for all of us. Summit has the most amazing staff, who made sure not only my daughter was safe and cared for, but so was I. They made sure to check in with me about how she was doing throughout the day. We are coming up on one year there, and I am just as thrilled about my daughter being here as I was the first week she started. Their attention to every detail makes every parent feel more relaxed about leaving their whole heart behind.Posted on Jessica L.STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Summit Prep has taken amazing care of my child for the last 4 years. He has learned so much and even laid a bibical foundation for our household. We are beyond impressed with the care our child has received and couldn’t ask for a more family oriented environment to guide the way for our child.Posted on Peyton STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Summit is the absolute best. When our son was enrolled the admin staff and all the teachers made the transition so easy. We were anxious as this was a new schedule for him but they have helped him flourish here. Grateful for the team here and how much everyone cares!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
